Andrew and Walter Young Southwest YMCA Receives Generous Donation from GDI and Atlanta Stepper, 

Monte Fowler

GDI partnered with Atlanta Stepper Monte Fowler to match his $1,000 contribution for a total donation of $2,000 to the Andrew and Walter Young Southwest YMCA.  The SW YMCA provides countless scholarships to community youth and seniors to participate in their varied and diverse programs.

This is the second consecutive year GDI has partnered with Monte Fowler to make sizable donations to charitable organizations.   Last year after the Haiti disaster, GDI and Mr. Fowler also joined forces for a $2,000 donation to that organization as well.

The SW YMCA is one of GDI’s partners and supporter of their annual “Celebrating Our Heritage – In Commemoration of Black History Month” affair.

One of GDI’s core missions is to be a viable source in the community by donating their time, effort, resources, and financial assistance to charitable groups.  Other community involvement includes assistance to “My Sister’s House,” which is a shelter for women and children subjected to domestic violence, Hosea Feed the Hungry, the James L. Jordan, Sr., Scholarship Foundations and others.

GDI looks forward to continued work and assistance in the community, whether individually or collectively.  It is very rewarding to be able to come to the aid of thosewho may have fallen upon misfortune or other tragedies.
