Donald, GDI's First President, Member of Good Deeds International's Presidential Advisory Board / Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Good Deeds International (GDI), LLC, was born and raised in Northern New Jersey. After finishing school in 1978, he enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Medical Specialist (Combat Medic) and received an Honorable Discharge in 1982. While in the military,
he proudly became the father of two wonderful girls, Kia and Laury. He is also a grandfather of a beautiful granddaughter Nakia. After the service, Donald moved back to his home in New Jersey and launched his career in Mortgage Banking and from there to Chicago to open a mortgage company office. In 1993, he became interested in steppin', frequenting places like 50 Yard Line and Sarah J’s, along with several other venues. In 1998, he moved to Atlanta and met his now lovely wife, Robin. Currently, he is Director of Marketing for Dynamic Technology Group headquartered in Chicago. Donald is pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from University of Phoenix. He is very much into politics and maintains a political blog at www.urbanpolitician.com. Donald’s passions are reading, football, politics, and steppin’. In early 2000, Donald became a member of one of Atlanta’s hottest new Steppers’ organization, “Steppin Out,” and became its President. After a brief layoff, Donald and another friend within the Atlanta’s steppers community came up with a concept to bring others from the community to celebrate the history of steppin’ in Atlanta. This concept grew into Good Deeds International (GDI), LLC.
