Kim "Quiet Storm" Davis, Community Affairs and Transportation Liaison of Good Deeds International (GDI), LLC, (named for her patience, but don't cross her) originally from Harvey, Illinois, is a graduate of Thornton Township High School and later obtained her cosmetology license. Kim was influenced by music from the "Chicago Sounds" listening to WVON and records that her family played. Kim also had strong ties with members of The Dells (Marvin) and Pops ( Johnny Funches, one of the original Dell) which helped shaped her "good taste" in music.
Kim later married and from this marriage became a stepmother to Shorlanda Steward and the mother of three more beautiful children, Leslie, Marlon, and Kamaria however, most recently became a proud grandmother of five. After her divorce, she decided Harvey was no longer a place to raise her children and decided to moved to Atlanta where she began her career in sales and became a manager for Pep Boys. Kim has maintained her position with the company for 13 years. In her spare time she enjoys skating, cooking (baking), gardening, and spending time with her granddaughter, Sekai. Kim has been a member of the Atlanta Steppin' Community for the last 15 years. In 2000, Kim became a member of Steppin' Out, a social club in metro Atlanta. After being a dedicated member for 4 years, the members decided to make a change and formed a Steppin' Classed called True Passion Steppers. Kim has taught steppin' in Atlanta as a progression and continues to teach today. In 2008, an opportunity presented itself and Kim being a valued member of the Steppin' Community was a natural selection in being part of Good Deeds International. Although Steppin' has been a part of Kim's life for many years, she is best known for her patience, kindness, spirituality and love for family and friends. Kim is the true matriarch that keeps GDI grounded in love and kindness.
